Bids Invited for 1.3 MW of Rooftop Solar Systems in Madhya Pradesh

ITI Limited, a public sector undertaking under the Department of Telecommunications, has invited bids to install and commission 1.3 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems of various capacities under Phase II of the grid-connected rooftop solar program of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in Madhya Pradesh.

The projects will be developed in the operational area of Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company.

The successful bidder will also have to take care of the operation and maintenance of the project for five years.

The last date to submit the bids is September 19, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.

The project’s estimated cost is ₹50 million (~$626,345). The vendor should complete the design, supply, civil work, erection, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar systems within 180 days from the issuance of the approval letter.

Bidders will have to submit ₹100,000 (~$1,253) as an earnest money deposit.

They should furnish the performance bank guarantee (PBG) based on the following details:

The value of PBG for the installed capacity for each part should be calculated as below:

[PBG Value (In ₹) = INR [Insert the Amount (cost discovered)] X 3% X Quoted Capacity in MW

Bidders may bid for a single category or both categories. The total value of the PBG to be submitted by the successful bidder will be the sum of the value of the PBG for each part.

Bidders should have completed installation works of at least 100 KW of cumulative capacity of grid-connected or off-grid rooftop solar projects during the last three financial years. The work should have been done for any distribution company (DISCOM), state government, central government, or private sector entity in India. The project should have been in satisfactory service for at least one year before the bid submission date.

The minimum average annual turnover of the bidders should be ₹2 million (~$25,053) during the last three financial years. They should have a positive net worth at the close of the last financial year.

Recently, ITI invited bids to install and commission 2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems under Phase II of the grid-connected rooftop solar program of the MNRE in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
