BHEL to Develop 15 MW Solar Project for GACL at Charanka in Gujarat

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) will develop a 15 MW solar project for Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) at Charanka in Gujarat.
The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order was placed by GACL, according to a BHEL release. BHEL will develop the project on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.
This will be BHEL’s first ground-mounted Solar PV project in Gujarat. The company is presently developing over 180 MW of ground-mounted and rooftop Solar PV projects across the country.
