ANERT Tenders 1 MW Solar Project at Kerala University of Health Sciences

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has invited bids for a grid-connected 1 MW solar project at the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, Kerala.

The last date to submit the bids is December 6, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must pay a tender document fee of ₹17,850 (~$211.5). They must also furnish an Earnest Money Deposit of ₹100,000 (~$1,185).

The successful bidder must pay 2.5% of the total project cost as a license fee to ANERT.

The 1 MW project should combine ground-mounted, carport, and rooftop solar systems.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar project.

The scope also includes power evacuation and operation and maintenance of the project for five years.

Bidders must have installed commissioned at least one grid-connected solar project of not less than 1 MW and a cumulative capacity of above 5 MW.

Their average annual turnover must be ₹50 million (~$592,455) in any two of the last five financial years. Their net worth must equal or exceed ₹30 million (~$355,473).

If any bidder wishes to incorporate a project company, the aggregate equity shareholding of the bidder in the issued and paid-up equity share capital of the company should not be less than 51% up to two years from the project’s commissioning date.

In May, ANERT invited bids for a 1.5 MW ground-mounted solar power project with grid connectivity under the RESCO model in the Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod.

In August 2023, it invited bids to select consultants to set up project management units for the proposed Kerala Green Hydrogen Mission.
