The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has invited bids for a 1.5 MW ground-mounted solar power project with grid connectivity under the RESCO model in the Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod.

The last date for the submission of bids is June 15, 2024.

The scope of the work includes design, supply, engineering, erection testing, and commissioning of the power project with grid connectivity, along with 15 years of operation and maintenance.

Bidders must submit ₹17,850 (~$214.6) as the cost of the tender and ₹500,000 (~$6,013) as earnest money deposit (EMD).

The EMD will be exempted for MSMEs and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC)-registered entities.

The successful bidder must deposit an amount equal to 5% of the total project cost as a performance bank guarantee until the completion of the installation works.

Bidders must provide the precise location of their factories or warehouses. This information should be included in their tenders to facilitate possible inspections by ANERT.

Bidders must have installed and commissioned at least one grid-connected solar power project with a capacity of at least 1.5 MW, which should have been operational for at least three months before the bid opening date.

They should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹80 million (~$962,129) in any three of the last five years, provided they have completed at least two financial years.

Alternatively, bidders should have a net worth equal to or greater than ₹100 million (~$1.2 million). The net worth calculation should be based on the unconsolidated audited annual accounts of the last financial year immediately preceding the bid deadline.

Last year, ANERT invited bids for the selection of consultants to set up project management units for the proposed Kerala Green Hydrogen Mission.
