The electricity department of Andaman & Nicobar has tendered 2 MW of rooftop solar in the union territory. The bid-submission deadline is March 20, 2017.

The electricity department has regulated that project capacities should be in the range of 1 kW to 10 kW. The scope of work includes, design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the project for a five-year period.

The solar projects need to be warranted for five years after the date of commissioning in the case of manufacturing, operation failure, or nonperformance.
