Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A (AGE26AL), a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has operationalized a 292 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat.

After the latest commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 19,585.8 MW. The company’s total operational battery storage capacity stands at 1,376 MWh.

Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A had earlier operationalized a 50 MW solar project in Khavda.

Last September, the subsidiary operationalized a 125 MW solar power project at Khavda.

AGEL reported a revenue of ₹24.2 billion (~$263.63 million) in the third quarter of the financial year 2026, a 21% year-over-year increase from ₹19.93 billion (~$217.11 million).

In March 2025, the company completed a long-term refinancing of $1.06 billion (~₹92.56 billion) for developing wind-solar projects in Rajasthan. The company’s maiden construction facility entails a door-to-door tenor of 19 years with a fully amortized debt structure aligned with the cash flow lifecycle.

AGEL topped the list of utility-scale solar project developers in India for 2024, according to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2025. The company accounted for 17.6% of the yearly capacity additions, commissioning 2.6 GW, including 2 GW under its flagship 8 GW manufacturing-linked project in Khavda.

Adani Green expanded its portfolio beyond solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects by venturing into pumped storage projects (PSP). Last February, it received a letter of award from the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation for the 1,250 MW Panaura PSP in the Sonbhadra district, with a minimum commitment of 40 years. The project is expected to be completed within the next six years.

The company is also working on several PSPs, including a 500 MW project at the Chitravathi River in Andhra Pradesh, a 1,500 MW project at Tarali in Maharashtra, and an 1,800 MW project at Gandikota in Andhra Pradesh.
