Gurugram-based power electronics company Zenergize Technologies, which develops silicon carbide products, has raised $4 million (~₹378.9 million) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Giraffe Studios and other investors.

Zenergize develops silicon carbide-based direct current fast charger and solar inverter platforms. The company is also developing hybrid inverters and battery energy storage inverters.

The fundraise comprised equity and venture debt. Giraffe Studios increased its existing investment in the company. Industrial entrepreneurs and angel investors also participated in the funding round.

The investors who participated in the funding round included Nikhil Sawhney of Triveni Turbine; Varun Agarwal of Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases; Shyam Bagri of Bagrry’s Holdings; Raoul Bajaj of Trafigura; angel investor Sunil Kalra; Ajith Pai, former Chief Operating Officer of Delhivery; Sandeep Barasia, former Chief Business Officer of Delhivery; Nitin Jain, Managing Director of Neo Group; and Hemant Daga, Chief Executive Officer of Neo Bank.

Zenergize said it plans to use the capital to expand its manufacturing capacity, strengthen engineering operations, increase nationwide service and sales presence, accelerate research and development, and build capabilities to serve large enterprises and original equipment manufacturers.

The company expects the funding to support its plans to increase its annual revenue run rate to more than ₹1 billion (~$10.56 million).

Zenergize said it has reached an annual revenue run rate of ₹300 million (~$3.17 million) and built an order book exceeding ₹1 billion (~$10.56 million) within a year of commercializing its products.

According to Mercom Capital Group’s 1H and Q2 2026 Funding and M&A Report for Energy Storage, corporate funding for energy storage companies totaled $8.9 billion across 73 deals in the first half (1H) of 2026, down 2% year-over-year from $9.1 billion across 55 deals in 1H 2025.

According to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2026 report, in 2025, inverter shipments to solar projects in India increased 40.8% compared to 2024, driven by record installations and a strong project pipeline targeted for commissioning in the first half of 2026, ahead of the phased reduction in interstate transmission system charges waiver.
