The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) tendered 5.285 MW of rooftop solar. The bid-submission deadline is June 30, 2017.

The estimated project cost is Rs.369.95 million (~$5.69 million). The capacity tendered includes 5.16 MW of rooftop solar to be developed atop buildings owned by WBSEDCL and other government buildings across West Bengal, and 0.125 MW of rooftop solar to be developed at Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL). The entire capacity will be developed in pockets of 5 kW.

The project will be developed on turnkey basis and the scope of work includes installation and commissioning of the projects. The successful bidder will have to provide comprehensive maintenance services for a five-year period.
