The municipal corporation of Udaipur Smart City Limited (USCL) tendered 2 MW of rooftop solar to be developed on selected buildings in Udaipur. The bid submission deadline is July 26, 2017.
A single bidder must bid for the entire 2 MW capacity. The scope of work includes, design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the projects with net-metering systems. The successful bidder will have to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a 25-year period.
The estimated project cost is Rs.120 million (~$1.86 million) and the project completion timeframe is 12 months from the date of issue of letter of award. The USCL has regulated that the minimum project size on one rooftop will be 10 kW.
The projects will be developed on a RESCO model and the successful bidder will be selected based on highest percentage savings on the power bill as quoted in the price bid. The USCL has asked bidders to quote bids for 25 years including all taxes, duties, and insurance.
