Telangana Power Generation Corporation Tenders 15 MW of Solar

The Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO) tendered 15 MW of solar in Telangana. The capacity tendered includes two projects, an 8 MW solar project to be developed at the Kothagudem Thermal Power Station in Paloncha and another 7 MW solar project to be developed at the Pulichinthala Hydro Electric Station in Mallacheru.

The bid submission deadline for the 8 MW project is July 20, 2017, and for the 7 MW project is July 21, 2017.

The estimated project cost of the 8 MW project is Rs.410 million (~$6.38 million) and the scope of work includes, design, manufacture, testing at manufacturers work, third party inspection, supply, storage at site and maintenance for one year of the grid connected 8 MW solar PV crystalline power project. The project completion timeframe is nine months from date of award of contract.

The estimated project cost of the 7 MW project is Rs.359.1 million (~$5.58 million) and the scope of work includes, design, manufacture, testing at manufacturers work, third party inspection, supply, storage at site and maintenance for one year of the grid connected 8 MW solar PV crystalline power project. The project completion timeframe is nine months from the date of award of contract.

These are two separate tenders; a bidder can bid to develop both projects, stated an official at TSGENCO.
