Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO) has issued a tender to empanel engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) service providers to set up grid connected solar projects of 1 MW in size with a total capacity of 1,000 MW.

The last date to submit the bids is December 10, 2024. Bids will be opened on December 16.

Bidders must furnish a bid document fee of ₹29,500 (~$350). They must also submit 10% of the total work order value as a security deposit.

Bidders must also pay a refundable empanelment deposit of ₹500,000 (~$5,934). The period of empanelment is one year.

Bidders must design, supply, and install solar power plants with high-efficiency modules to achieve a capacity utilization factor of 19%. They must also provide a Remote Monitoring System with a five-year comprehensive warranty and guarantee, along with one year of comprehensive operation and maintenance from the date of commissioning.

The modules used should be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.

The modules must be warranted with a linear degradation rate of power output except for the first year. They must guarantee at least 80% of the initial rated power output at the end of 25 years.

Bidders must have at least a year of experience in installing grid-connected ground-mounted solar projects.

During the last three financial years, they should have constructed and commissioned at least 1 MW of grid-connected ground-mounted solar power projects with 33/11KV evacuation.

Bidders should have a minimum financial turnover of 30 million (~$356,049) in any year during the last three financial years.

Bidders must demonstrate a turnover of ₹30 million (~$356,049)/MW or provide an equivalent work order value for the total cumulative capacity offered.

Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana recently issued two tenders for 3 MW ground-mounted solar power projects in Karimnagar and Sircilla districts. The last date to submit bids for both tenders is December 12, 2024.
