TCIL Invites Bids to Select Partners for 11.77 MW Solar Project

Telecommunications Consultants India (TCIL) has invited expressions of interest to select partner agencies for the design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction and erection, testing, and commissioning of a grid-connected 11,775 kW solar power project.
The last date to submit bids is September 9, 2024.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹5 million (~$59,583) and pay a tender fee of ₹20,000 (~$238.30).
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction and erection, testing, and commissioning of the 11,775 kW solar project for NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVNL) in zone 7 (Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra).
The successful bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for ten years.
The average annual turnover of the bidders during the last three financial years should be at least ₹180 million (~$21.45 million). The turnover for startups must be ₹150 million (~$17.87 million).
The net worth of the bidders should be positive as of March 31 of the last financial Year.
Bidders must have executed any of the following similar works during the last seven years:
- Three similar works, each costing not less than ₹240 million (~$28.6 million), for general bidders and ₹210 million (~$25.02 million) for startups
- Two similar works, each costing not less than ₹300 million (~$35.75 million), for general bidders and ₹270 million (~$32.17 million) for startups
- One similar work costing not less than ₹420 million (~$50.05 million) for general bidders and ₹39 million (~$46.47 million) for startups
TCIL recently invited bids to establish a 2 MW floating solar photovoltaic project at the Tamarind Falls Reservoir, Mauritius.
In August, the company invited bids to select a consortium partner for the supply, installation, system integration, operation, and maintenance of smart meters, head-end system software, and a radio frequency/cellular communication network as part of the advanced metering infrastructure project in Kerala State Electricity Board-Phase-1.
