Punjab Genco, a Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) undertaking, has invited bids to design, manufacture, supply, erect, and test two solar power projects of 4 MW each in Bathinda District.
The scope of work also includes operations and maintenance (O&M) for five years.
The last date to submit the bids is December 18, 2024. Bids will be opened on December 19.
Bidders must submit a tender fee of ₹10,000 (~$118.2). They must also furnish bid evaluation charges of ₹90,000 (~$1,063.9).
They must pay ₹1 million (~$11,822) through e-banking or e-payment mode and ₹3 million (~$35,466) in the form of bank guarantee as earnest money deposit for 4 MW.
The O&M includes supplying and storing all mandatory spare parts and consumables and the repairs/ replacement of any defective equipment.
Bidders must install a minimum of 5 MW DC capacity at the project site. However, it is up to the bidder to provide DC capacity above 5 MW based on site-specific losses to provide guaranteed generation.
The project must meet auxiliary power requirements such as control room and yard lighting and export the excess power generated to the grid after stepping it up to 11KV.
Inverters should be designed to convert the DC power to AC power and adjust the voltage and frequency levels to suit the grid voltage and frequency.
The cells and modules must be included in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
Bidders must be manufacturers or system integrators for solar projects or EPC companies who have commissioned at least one ground-mounted or rooftop solar project of 2 MW anywhere in India.
They must also have experience in O&M of solar projects of an aggregate 2 MW capacity for at least one year in the last five .
The net worth of the bidder for the last financial year should be positive. For a single project of a minimum of 4 MW capacity, the average annual turnover of ₹100 million (~$ 1.18 million) during any of the last three financial years.
In August, PEDA issued a request for selection to develop 264 MW of solar projects to solarize 75,000 grid-connected pumps under Component-C of the PM-KUSUM program.
