SJVN Invites Bids to Enlist Channel Partners for 1.46 MW Rooftop Solar Systems

SJVN has issued two tenders to select channel partners for installing a cumulative 1.46 MW capacity of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on residential buildings under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Arunachal Pradesh.

The last date to submit bids is January 7, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.

The bid document costs ₹5,900 (~$69.50).

Besides supply, installation, and maintenance of the project for five years, the scope of work for both tenders includes identifying potential beneficiaries under the PM Surya Ghar program and making them aware of the program’s benefits.

The channel partners will also act as aggregators of the requests received on the program’s national portal.

To be eligible, bidders must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Bidders must have experience in the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected solar projects with a minimum cumulative capacity of 100 kW during the last seven years.
  • Bidders must be manufacturers of solar modules included in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
  • Bidders must be distributors/dealers of solar modules and supplied modules of a cumulative capacity of at least 1 MW during the last seven years.

Tender 1 (1.01 MW)

The projects will be located in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.

Bidders must pay an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹110,000 (~$1,295.8) for Himachal Pradesh, ₹100,000 (~$1,178) for Punjab, and ₹210,000 (~$2,473) if bids are submitted for both states.

The average annual turnover of the bidders should not be less than ₹1.65 million (~$19,436) during the preceding three financial years for Himachal Pradesh and ₹1.5 million (~$17,669) for Punjab.

Tender 2 (0.45 MW)

The project will be located in Arunachal Pradesh. The bidders must pay an EMD ₹110,000 (~$1,295.8).

The bidders’ annual average turnover should not be less than ₹1.65 million (~$19,436) during the last three financial years.

In September 2024, SJVN invited bids to develop 1,200 MW Inter-State Transmission System-connected solar projects with 600 MW/2400 MWh energy storage systems.
