Renewable energy developer, Serentica Renewables, has invited expressions of interest from infrastructure and construction partners across India for project execution work at its wind project sites in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.

Bids must be submitted by September 15, 2025.

The company has set a target of achieving 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2027 and 20 GW by 2030, and the current tender is part of its broader expansion strategy in the clean energy sector.

The scope of work includes land acquisition with a focus on aggregation and right-of-way management; civil works such as foundations, internal roads, storage yards, and site development; mechanical works involving cranes, erection manpower, logistics, and commissioning; and electrical works including construction of 33 kV lines, substations or distribution point yards, cabling, and terminations.

The scope extends to pooling substations and bay extensions, as well as power evacuation through extra-high-voltage lines.

In addition to individual packages, Serentica has also offered the option for bidders to express interest in undertaking end-to-end general contracting responsibilities covering all six packages. The tender also highlighted opportunities for vendors from other industries, such as roads, power and transmission, manufacturing, communication infrastructure, and other construction sectors, to diversify into the wind energy sector.

In July this year,  Serentica Renewables invited expressions of interest from land aggregators and renewable energy park facilitators to develop 5 GW of solar power projects in Rajasthan.

In Jun,  Serentica Renewables announced the closure of its debt financing of over $100 million from Rabobank and Société Générale. The funds will be used to develop a 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan.
