Robust Order Execution Drives Inox Wind’s Revenue Up 56% YoY in Q2 FY 2026

Wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind reported a revenue of ₹11.62 billion (~$131.12 million) in the second quarter (Q2) of the financial year (FY) 2026, a 56% year-over-year (YoY) increase from ₹7.44 billion (~$83.95 million).
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also rose 48% YoY to ₹2.71 billion (~$30.58 million) from ₹1.83 billion (~$20.65 million).
The company’s quarterly net profit sustained its growth momentum from the previous quarters, rising 43% YoY to ₹1.21 billion (~$13.65 million) from ₹840 million (~$9.47 million).
Inox’s earnings per share came up to ₹0.70 (~$0.0079) compared to ₹0.05 (~$0.00056).
The company’s quarterly wind installations increased by 44% YoY to 202 MW compared to 140 MW in the corresponding quarter last year.
As of September 20, 2025, the company’s order book stood at 3,235 MW.
Inox reported a revenue of ₹8.63 billion (~$98.57 million) in the first quarter of FY 2026, a 32% YoY increase from ₹6.55 billion (~$74.87 million).
1H FY26
Inox Wind reported a revenue of ₹20.25 billion (~$228.47 million) in the first half (1H) of FY 2026, a 45% YoY increase from ₹13.98 billion (~$157.73 million).
Its EBITDA rose 44% YoY to ₹4.91 billion (~$55.39 million) from ₹3.42 billion (~$38.58 million).
The net profit for 1H stood at ₹2.18 billion (~$24.59 million), up 61% YoY from ₹1.35 billion (~$15.23 million).
Inox’s earnings per share came up to ₹1.26 (~$0.014) compared to ₹0.02 (~$0.00023).
The company’s 1H wind installations increased by 24% YoY to 348 MW compared to 280 MW in the corresponding quarter last year.
Recently, the company secured wind turbine orders totaling 229 MW from undisclosed renewable energy companies. The company received orders for 160 MW of its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators, which comprise 112 MW of firm orders with the option to extend by 48 MW for projects under development across multiple sites.
In October 2025, it said it would invest ₹4 billion (~$45.09 million) in establishing a wind turbine-blade manufacturing unit in Kusanagi, Koppal district, Karnataka. The project includes an initial investment of ₹3 billion (~$33.82 million) to set up the blade manufacturing plant, followed by an additional ₹1 billion (~$11.27 million) for wind tower fabrication.
Inox Wind’s new manufacturing plant at Kalyangadh, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is ramping up its operations. The unit manufactures nacelles and hubs for its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators and is future-ready for the upcoming 4X MW turbines as well.
