Railway Energy Management Company (REMC), a joint venture between RITES and the Ministry of Railways, has invited bids to hire consultancy services for conducting a technical condition assessment and health analysis of 13 wind turbine generators at its 26 MW wind power project in Dangri, Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan.
The consulting firm must analyze gearbox oil samples, conduct an endoscopy and inspection of gearboxes and assess blade health through drone imagery.
The deadline for submission of bids is May 27, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day.
The project has an estimated cost of ₹934,258 (~$11,100). Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹18,700 (~$224).
Bidders must have achieved a minimum annual turnover of ₹934,000 (~$11,100) in any one of the last three fiscal years. They should have registered profits in any two of the past three years. A positive net worth of at least 15% of the estimated cost, amounting to ₹140,139 (~$ 1,670), is also a prerequisite.
Bidders should have completed or substantially completed at least one similar work worth at least ₹747,000 (~$8,900) or two such projects valued at ₹467,000 (~$ 5,500) each or three projects worth ₹374,000 (~$4,400) each in the last seven years.
Alternatively, they can showcase experience in executing a single 20 MW wind power project, two 13 MW projects, or three 10 MW projects during the same period.
Other key requirements include compliance with the Make-in-India policy for local suppliers, the absence of any conflict of interest, and a clean track record free from bans or debarments by RITES, REMCL, or any government agency.
Earlier this year, REMC invited bids to procure 695 MW of round-the-clock power (RTC) from grid-connected renewable energy projects with or without storage to operate in tandem with existing 500 MW Ircon Renewable Power and 195 MW Rewa Ultra Mega Solar projects.
Last year, it invited bids to procure 750 MW of RTC power from grid-connected renewable projects with or without storage across India for 25 years.
