RECPDCL Invites Bids for 200 MW Solar Power Project in Uttar Pradesh

REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has invited bids for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 200 MW ground-mounted solar power project at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
The last date for submitting bids is June 6, 2024. Bids will be opened the same day.
The selected bidders will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Designing, engineering, supplying, constructing, erecting, testing, and commissioning a 200 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar PV power project.
- Providing comprehensive operation and maintenance for the project for five years after commissioning and performance demonstration. This includes supplying and storing all necessary spare parts and consumables and repairing or replacing any defective equipment.
Bidders must pay ₹25,000 (~$300.36) plus 18% GST for the bidding document and ₹1 million (~$12,014) plus 18% GST as the tender processing fee.
They must also submit an earnest money deposit of ₹35 million. The successful bidder has to provide a performance security amounting to 5% of the total contract value.
The solar projects will be executed as an engineering, procurement, and construction package through domestic competitive bidding, utilizing PV modules from the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
Bidders are encouraged to visit and inspect the work site and its surroundings to gather all the necessary information for preparing their bid and entering into a contract for the required job.
Recently, RECPDCL floated a tender to set up 223 MW inter-state transmission system-connected solar power projects.
In December 2023, RECPDCL floated a tender to set up 250 MW ISTS-connected solar power projects with an additional greenshoe option of 250 MW.
