The municipal corporation of Raipur Smart City Limited tendered 2,155 kW of solar rooftop systems to be developed on Government buildings in Raipur. The bid-submission deadline is July 13, 2017.

A single bidder must bid for the entire capacity. The scope of work includes, design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the projects.

The size of each project shall be between 1 kW to 500 kW and will be developed under a RESCO model. One project may, however, comprise several rooftop units. Each rooftop unit can separately connect to the grid and may have separate meters.

The estimated project cost is Rs.130 million (~$2.01 million) and the project completion timeframe is 12 months from the date of issue of letter of award.

Mercom recently reported that Udaipur Smart City Limited (USCL) tendered 2 MW of rooftop solar to be developed on selected buildings in Udaipur. The bid submission deadline for these projects is July 26, 2017.
