O&M Tender Issued for 1,089 kW of Rooftop Solar Systems in West Bengal

The West Bengal Power Development Corporation (WBPDCL) has issued a notice inviting tender for comprehensive operation & maintenance (O&M) of three years for 1,089 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on buildings in Bandel Thermal Power Station in Hooghly, West Bengal.
The work must be completed within 1,185 days from the issuance of the work order.
The last day to submit the bids is August 22, 2022. Bids will be opened on August 24.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹161,000 (~$2,015). Successful bidders must submit a performance guarantee equivalent to 3% of the project cost within 15 days from the issuance of the work order.
Bidders must have executed an O&M contract of one rooftop, ground-mounted, or floating solar power project of 1 MW capacity or two projects of 0.5 MWp capacity in the last seven years.
They must submit evidence of satisfactory performances of the solar project by furnishing the latest O&M performance certificates issued by the project developer for a minimum of one year.
Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹2.45 million (~$30,664) per year during the last three financial years. Their net worth as of the last financial year must be positive.
In December last year, WBPDCL invited bids to set up 22.5 MW of grid-connected floating solar projects in the thermal power stations at Bakreshwar, Santhaldih, and Sagardidhi.
In October, WBPDCL issued a notice inviting tender from engineering, procurement, and construction contractors to set up two 10 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar projects in two phases at Santhaldih thermal station, Purulia, West Bengal, on a turnkey basis.
According to Mercom’s India Solar Tender Tracker, WBPDCL has issued a tender for 102 MW of solar projects to date.
