NVVN Tenders 7.2 MW Rooftop Solar Project for Assam Rifles

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has invited bids for grid-connected rooftop solar systems with a cumulative capacity of 7.2 MW in 26 buildings under Assam Rifles in Nagaland, Manipur, and Assam.
The last date to submit bids is December 2, 2024. Bids will be opened on December 3, 2024.
The project is expected to be completed within seven months.
Bidders must submit a bid security of ₹5 million (~$59,241.5).
The scope of work covers design, engineering, supply, civil construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the system as per design and specifications, connecting to existing mains / ACDB / feeder pillars and interfacing internal electrical loads of the project’s license’s network/electrical loads. The successful bidders must get approval for interfacing the project with grid/electrical loads from the distribution licensee/ CEIG.
The scope of work also includes providing a suitable solar module cleaning/ water washing system, remote monitoring system, and operation and maintenance for ten years.
Bidders must provide a permanent MS staircase/ladder with a minimum width of 1 meter, providing rooftop access to all buildings where the rooftop solar systems are installed.
They must ensure due performance of the contract up to 10% of the contract price of all the contracts within 28 days of the notification of the award with an initial validity up to 15 months after the completion of facilities of the entire project.
The manufacturers providing solar panels, Inverters, and solar meters must offer an extended warranty of ten years.
Solar modules with a minimum capacity of 540 Wp must be used with a yearly degradation factor of not more than 0.7% and a minimum efficiency of 21%.
The Performance Guarantee Test must be carried out after the system has been successfully commissioned. The test must be conducted once for every 200 kW or its part on the premises.
Bidders must be Class-I -local or Class-II local suppliers.
In September, NVVN issued tenders to select and discover the lowest rates for rate contracts for the engineering, procurement, and construction f grid-connected rooftop solar systems of various capacities on government and private buildings.
In August 2024, NVVN floated a tender for a 25.65 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project for government buildings in Delhi and adjoining states, including buildings under Delhi Police.
