NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC, has issued tenders for the selection and discovery of the lowest rates for rate contracts for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of grid-connected rooftop solar systems of various capacities on government and private buildings.

The scope of work covers the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning, preliminary visual assessment of the roof, water arrangements, electricity, security, and determining optimal capacity to set up the rooftop solar systems.

Bidders must operate and maintain the rooftop solar systems for ten years.

The validity of the selection/empanelment of rate contracts at the lowest (L1) rates will be nine months, with a provision for an extension of three months.

Bidding will be carried out for all capacities in 15 zones across India. The discovered price, including operation and maintenance O&M charges and GST, in a particular zone will be multiplied by a discount factor of 0.96 to arrive at the price.

Only Class-I and Class-II local suppliers can participate in this tender.
