NVVN Issues EPC Tender for 2 MW Solar Project in Maharashtra

The NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 2 MW ground-mounted solar project at the India Security Press, Nashik, Maharashtra.
The last date to submit bids is December 23, 2025. Bids will be opened on December 24.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹2 million (~$22,188.2) and a contract performance guarantee amounting to up to 10% of the contract value.
The scope of work covers the design, engineering, supply, testing, erection, and commissioning of the project.
It also covers operation and maintenance for five years.
The project also entails conducting a topographic survey of the site.
The successful bidder will collect real-time generation data from the project, in 15-minute time blocks, using the solar meter for remote metering and billing.
Only bidders empanelled with NVVN can participate in the tender.
The project must be completed within eight months. In the event of failure to complete the project by the deadline, the successful bidder must pay liquidated damages of up to 5% of the contract value.
The project must be designed to be interconnected with the 11 kV at the India Security Press Main Receiving Station / sub-station 1.
The project must maintain a minimum annual capacity utilization factor of 21%.
The project must use modules from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-I and solar cells listed in ALMM List-II. The modules must be procured from a Class-I supplier.
In November 2025, NVVN invited bids to develop a 1 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar project at GAIL Ajmer, Rajasthan.
In July, NVVN issued a tender to empanel EPC contractors for developing rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects of up to 20 MW per vendor.
