NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, has floated a tender for installing grid-connected rooftop solar systems of a cumulative capacity of 1.3 MW on various buildings of the Goa Shipyard.
The last date to submit the bids is July 24, 2024. Bids will be opened the next day.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project’s various capacities, the connections to the existing mains/ACDB, and interfacing internal electrical loads with the project licensee’s network/electrical loads.
Bidders must operate and maintain the project for ten years.
They must pay a bid security of ₹1 million (~$11,976).
The bidders’ average annual turnover should have been at least ₹51.5 million (~$616,887) or equivalent foreign currency during the previous three financial years. If they do not meet the average annual turnover criteria, the holding company must meet the stipulated turnover requirements, provided that its net worth is at least equal to or more than its paid-up share capital as of the last day of the previous financial year.
Only Class-I and Class-II local suppliers are eligible to participate in the tender. Solar modules from the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules must be used in the project.
As of the last day of the previous financial year, the bidders’ net worth should not be less than 100% of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.
Recently, NVVN invited bids to develop ground-mounted and rooftop solar photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 12.82 MW across multiple locations in India.
In June, NVVN also invited bids to commission 10.61 MW of ground-mounted and 8.65 MW of rooftop solar projects at different locations in Zone 1 of NTPC.
