NTPC REL Tenders Land and Power Evacuation Package for 300 MW Solar Projects

NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has invited bids for land and power evacuation packages to develop 300 MW interstate transmission systems-connected solar projects with battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Rajasthan.
Bids must be submitted by April 18, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same date.
Bidders must submit a document fee of ₹22,500 (~$259.5) and a bid security amount of ₹20 million (~$2,30,612).
Selected bidders must arrange government or private land on a freehold or leasehold basis near the 300 MW Nokhra Solar project of NTPC Green Energy in Rajasthan. The lease should be at least 29 years and 11 months.
They must also design, engineer, erect, test, and commission an AIS pooling substation and a 33 kV switchgear for interconnection between the 300 MW solar project and the 300 MW BESS.
Bidders must have arranged land for solar, wind, or hybrid projects of a minimum cumulative capacity of 100 MW, of which at least one project must have had a minimum of 50 MW capacity.
Alternatively, they must have executed at least one industrial project in the power, steel, oil, gas, or petrochemical segments worth a minimum of ₹220 million (~$2.5 million). They must have completed such projects as a developer or engineering, procurement, and construction contractor.
Bidders must also have executed one electrical substation of at least 33 kV.
The solar and wind industrial projects must have been operational for at least one year, and projects in the renewable energy sector for six months.
Bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least ₹220 million (~$2.5 million) during the last three years. They must have had a positive net worth in the previous financial year.
NTPC REL invited bids for a land and power evacuation package to develop 600 MW solar power projects in Tumkur, Karnataka. Bids must be submitted by April 4, 2025.
