NTPC has invited bids for the comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of its 100 MW floating solar project located at NTPC Ramagundam, Andhra Pradesh.

The project comprises 40 blocks, each with a 2.5 MW capacity.

Bids must be submitted by November 26, 2025. Bids will be opened on November 28.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹2 million (~$22,560). The successful bidder must provide a security deposit equivalent to 10% of the contract value, which NTPC will hold as a performance guarantee for the fulfillment of contractual obligations.

The scope of work includes the O&M of the 100 MW floating solar project, along with the grid connection system, for three years from the date of award.

It also includes ensuring that all equipment and systems, from DC strings up to the power evacuation point, are kept in service throughout the contract period. The contractor will be responsible for clearing faults, monitoring and recording plant operating parameters, and maintaining the health of the equipment.

The scope also covers the annual calibration of pyranometers and 12 ABT meters, the detection and rectification of 33 kV cable faults, and the replacement of inverters with spares. All cable faults must be attended to and rectified within 24 hours.

In the last seven years, bidders must have installed and commissioned a solar project of at least 20 MW capacity, or have operated and maintained such a project for a continuous period of at least one year.

Only Class-I local suppliers with a minimum local content of 60% are eligible to participate.

Bidders must have an average annual turnover of not less than ₹70.8 million (~$798,624) during the last three financial years and a net worth of at least 100% of their paid-up share capital.

In September this year, NTPC issued an engineering, procurement, and construction tender to develop a 2 MW solar project at Dump C of its Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district.
