NTPC Green Invites Bids for O&M Supervision of 225 MW Solar Project

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, has invited bids for the supervision of operation and maintenance (O&M) and civil works of a 225 MW solar power project at Bilhaur in Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of the work involves predicting and planning activities, overseeing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, managing project preventive maintenance, handling general operations and maintenance tasks, and addressing daily site/project office responsibilities.
The last date for the submission of bids is January 15, 2024. Bids will be opened the next day.
Bidders are exempted from both tender fee and earnest money deposit for this tender.
The contract period for the project is 12 months.
Only suppliers classified as ‘Class-I local suppliers’ are eligible to participate in this tender. To be classified as a ‘Class-I local supplier,’ a bidder/supplier must meet a minimum local content requirement of 50%. For classification as a ‘Class-II local supplier,’ the minimum local content requirement is 20%.
The project is expected to be financed through NTPC Green Energy’s internal resources and/or borrowings.
Bidders are advised to conduct on-site visits to acquaint themselves with the project’s scope, work volume, and site conditions and gather all essential information concerning potential risks, contingencies, and other factors that could impact their tender submission.
To achieve the required rate of progress in order to complete the works within the time for completion, the bidders may carry on the work round the clock in multiple shifts per day, as may be necessary.
Bidders must extend all reasonable cooperation to other contractors and agencies engaged in connection with the work or any other work not in the scope of this work, as may be required by the engineer-in-charge.
Bidders should also provide and maintain at their own expense all lights, guards, fencing, and watching when and where necessary or required by the engineer-in-charge for the protection of the works or the safety and convenience of those employed on the works or the public.
They should make arrangements to prevent pollution of the water in any adjacent water bodies, including streams, springs, nallahs, rivers, and lakes. They will be liable for all damage caused by any pollution that may take place during the execution of the work.
