NTPC Invites Bids to Supply Modules for 325 MW Projects in Madhya Pradesh

NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC, has invited bids for the supply of solar modules for 325 MW of solar projects in Shajapur Solar Park, Madhya Pradesh.

The last day to submit the bids is December 19, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.

The scope of work includes manufacturing and supplying crystalline solar modules of a minimum 530 Wp nominal rating under the open category, listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. The cumulative DC capacity of the modules supplied must be 460.55 MWp.

The modules will be supplied to two units in Shajapur Solar Park. The total DC capacity supplied to Unit-1 should be 148.80MWp and Unit-2 311.75MWp.

The cost of the bidding documents is ₹22,500 (~$274.86).. The bid security for Unit-1 is ₹50 million (~$610,869), and ₹100 million (~$1.22 million) for Unit-2. If a bidder wishes to bid for the full capacity, the bid security amount will be ₹100 million (~$1.22 million).

Bidders should be module manufacturers with 530Wp or above-rated modules included in ALMM. To bid for Unit-1 or Unit-2, the average annual turnover of the bidder must be ₹1.15 billion (~$14.06 million). The turnover should be ₹2.3 billion (~$28.12 million) for full capacity.

If the bidder does not satisfy the annual turnover criteria, its holding company must meet the requirements. The net worth of the holding company must be equal to or more than its paid-up share capital.

If the bidder cannot furnish audited financial statements on a standalone entity basis, it can submit audited consolidated financial statements of its holding company.

The net worth of the bidder as of the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100% of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.

Recently, NTPC Renewable Energy invited bids for the balance of system package to set up interstate transmission system-connected wind power projects of 1,000 MW capacity in Karnataka.
