Nominations for Mercom India Awards 2023 Now Open

Mercom India is calling for nominations for its third annual ‘Mercom India Awards.’ The awards will be given at Mercom’s flagship event, the Mercom India Renewables Summit, and recognizes the exceptional achievement and technological innovations by companies that are contributing to India’s clean energy industry and helping drive the country forward in its energy transition.

The awards this year will highlight the remarkable commitments of organizations and individuals that have helped accelerate India’s environmental goals and grow local economies through innovation and leadership and through the advancement of renewable energy across the country.

The awards will focus on the uniqueness, challenges, and complexities of each project, and their economic, environmental, and social impact.

The awards will cover broader renewable energy segments and include 11 different categories.

The award categories are:

  • Best Large-Scale Project
  • Best C&I Project (Rooftop)
  • Best C&I Project (Ground-mount)
  • Best Residential Project
  • Best Off-grid Project
  • Best Hybrid Project
  • Best Engineered Project
  • Best Innovation – Product
  • Deal of the Year (Strategic)
  • Deal of the Year (Financial)
  • Energy Transition

In 2023, a new award category, Energy Transition, has been included to recognize companies that have demonstrated exemplary efforts in helping India transition toward a more sustainable and decarbonized future.

The nominations will be accepted through March 31, 2023, and finalists will be announced during the in-person awards ceremony to be held on April 26, 2023, at the Mercom India Renewables Summit at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.

Mercom, a clean energy communications and research firm, has played a leading role in helping shape India’s energy transformation by delivering timely and relevant market intelligence, news, and advisory services for over a decade.

The 2023 winners will join the previously recognized organizations from past Mercom India Awards, including Adani Green Energy, NTPC Limited, Ciel et Terre Solar, Reliance New Energy Solar, and ENGIE.
