NHPC Floats Tender for 2.56 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Nagaland

NHPC has invited bids for setting up 2.56 MW rooftop solar projects on government buildings in Nagaland under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
The last date to submit bids is April 21, 2025. Bids will be opened on April 23.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹2.5 million (~$28,750.5) and a performance security fee of ₹2,475 (~$28.46)/kW.
They must also submit a bid document procurement fee of ₹5,000 (~$57.5).
The scope of work involves design, engineering, supply of equipment and materials, erection, testing, and project commissioning.
It also involves operation and maintenance for 25 years.
Successful bidders must obtain net metering and provide grid connectivity for the project.
Bidders must maintain an annual capacity utilization factor of at least 14%.
The project must be completed within nine months.
Bidders must have experience designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning solar projects with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 400 kW. At least one of the projects must be at least 40 kW and located in a single location.
Alternatively, bidders must have developed at least 400 kW solar projects. At least one project must be of 40KW and in a single location.
Alternatively, they must have experience as a developer or an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contractor in the process industry or have developed a single work of ₹40 million (~$460,008) in the infrastructure development industry.
Additionally, bidders must have executed at least one electrical substation of 11 kV voltage level, consisting of 11 kV voltage level circuit breakers and power transformers, either as developers or as EPC contractors.
Bidders must have an annual turnover of ₹50.9 million (~$585,360) in the last three financial years.
They must have a working capital of ₹23.8 million (~$273,705).
Bidders must pay ₹1,485 (~$17)/kW as project management charges.
Bidders must source solar modules from manufacturers listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
