The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has invited bids to set up 3 MW rooftop solar projects in the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor.
Bids must be submitted by July 14, 2025. Bids will be opened on July 15.
Bidders must furnish a bid security of ₹2.15 million (~$25,000.82).
Successful bidders must submit a performance security deposit of ₹10.7 million (~$124,424.52).
The projects must be completed in 15 months.
The scope of work entails the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar projects. It also involves providing comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for 25 years.
The modules used must qualify under the latest edition of the International Electrotechnical Commission PV module qualification test or equivalent Bureau of Indian Standards-certified mono-PERC silicon solar cell modules.
Bidders can be single entities or joint ventures. They must have completed the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects of at least 1,500 kW capacity for the central government, state government, or metro rail companies.
Bidders must have also provided O&M services for 1,500 kW solar projects under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) or the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model for at least one year.
They must have also completed a single contract for the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and O&M of a rooftop project of at least 375 kW capacity under RESCO or CAPEX mode for the central government, state government, or metro rail companies.
Bidders must have an annual average turnover of ₹53.5 million (~$622,122.61) in the last three years.
Last year, NCRTC invited bids for a 4.9 MW rooftop solar power project in the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System Corridor. The scope of work encompassed the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of the project, and providing O&M for 25 years.
