The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has said distribution companies (DISCOMs) may use funds remaining with them under the ‘Incentives to DISCOMs’ component of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana program for battery energy storage projects and installing rooftop solar systems on their buildings.
