Mitarsh Wins NTPC’s O&M Auction for 540 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan

Mitarsh Energy has won NTPC Green Energy’s auction for the comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of 540 MW grid-connected solar projects in Nokhra and Devikot, Rajasthan, for three years.
The tender was issued in December 2025.
Mitarsh’s scope of work includes providing O&M services for the 300 MW solar projects in Nokhra and for the 150 MW and 90 MW solar projects in Devikot.
The company’s responsibilities cover the project operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, deployment of qualified manpower, module cleaning, transmission line maintenance, testing and commissioning activities, safety management, statutory and performance reporting, and the supply of specified spares.
Power must be evacuated from the two solar projects at 220 kV to the substations of the Power Grid Corporation of India.
Mitarsh has a solar O&M portfolio of over 9 GW.
Mitarsh Energy had the highest cumulative O&M portfolio in 2025, according to Mercom’s India Solar Market Leaderboard 2026 report.
Recently, NTPC selected Jayram Industries as the winner of its auction for the O&M of a 4 MW solar project with a 1.25 MWh battery storage system for two years at the NTPC Energy Technology Research Alliance building in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier, VSL Renewable Services won the O&M contract for 810 MWp of NTPC Green Energy’s 1,864 MW solar power projects in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Last September, NTPC invited bids for the bi-annual O&M of a 20 MW floating solar project and for providing manpower for a 20 MW ground-mounted solar project at NTPC’s Auraiya Gas Power Station, Dibiyapur, in Uttar Pradesh.
In July 2025, NGEL invited bids for the comprehensive O&M of its 250 MW Shimbhu ki Bhurj-I solar project for two months in Rajasthan.
In the same month, NTPC invited bids for the comprehensive O&M of a 92 MW floating solar project at NTPC Kayamkulam, Kerala, for three years, and a 5 MW ground-mounted solar system at Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, for two years and nine months.
