Military Engineering Services Tenders 2 MW of Solar in Jodhpur

The Military Engineering Services (MES) has tendered a 2 MW solar project to be developed at Jodhpur in Rajasthan. The project is being developed for the GE Army Utility at Jodhpur and the bid-submission deadline is August 30, 2017.

The estimated project cost is Rs.130 million (~$2.02 million) and the project completion time frame is 365 days from the date of issue of letter of award.

The scope of work includes, design, supply, engineering, procurement, erection, testing, installation, and commissioning of the projects. The MES has been tendering solar projects across the country under the Defense Viability Gap Funding (VGF) program.

Mercom previously reported that the MES tendered a 1 MW project to be developed at Binnaguri Cantonment and another 1MW to be developed at 5 BRD AFS in Sulur.
