The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) has approved Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking’s (BEST) proposal to procure 220 MW of solar power bundled with a 110 MW/440 MWh energy storage system from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
