The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has invited bids to commission 1,100 kW of grid-connected ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects with net metering at 49 government and semi-government buildings in Parbhani, Maharashtra.
The project’s estimated cost is ₹67.69 million (~$781,662).
Bids must be submitted by April 24, 2025. Bids will be opened on April 25.
Bidders must furnish a tender document fee of ₹29,500 (~$340) and an earnest money deposit of ₹676,880 (~$7,816).
Selected bidders must submit 3% of the contract value as a security deposit within 10 days from the date of issue of the work order.
They must commission the project within 120 days of the work order and oversee its operation and maintenance for five years.
If the systems are not commissioned on time, the installer must pay a penalty of 0.5% per week for a maximum of 10% of the total system cost. This penalty will be recovered from the amount due to the bidders or the security deposit.
Bidders must have commissioned and maintained rooftop solar systems with a minimum installed capacity of 550 kW.
Bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least ₹50 million (~$577,525) during each of the last three years. They must submit a yearly turnover certificate from a chartered accountant for the previous three years.
Selected bidders must provide after-sale services, including necessary repair and maintenance, in the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division of Maharashtra.
In December last year, MEDA issued two tenders for installing 1,098 kW of rooftop solar systems in Maharashtra’s Amravati and Yavatmal districts.
In September, MEDA invited bids for the survey, design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of 1,095 kW ground-mounted and rooftop solar systems with net metering.
