The Kolkata Metro tendered rooftop solar projects aggregating 1 MW to be installed on the rooftops of Metro Railway installations at Noapara Car Depot Complex and other elevated stations. The bid-submission deadline is June 12, 2017.

The scope of work includes, design, engineering, procurement, finance, erection (including civil and structural works), installation, testing, commissioning, and generation from the rooftop projects. The successful bidder will also provide for operation and maintenance of the project for a period of 25 years after project commissioning.

The project completion timeframe is nine months from the date of award of contract.
