JVVNL Floats Tender for 26.77 MW Solar Power Projects under KUSUM

The Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) has invited bids to set up 26.77 MW grid-connected solar power projects through the renewable energy service company model model under Component C of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM).
The last date to submit bids is January 15, 2025. Bids will be opened on January 17.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000 (~$1,164)/ MW and a performance bank guarantee of ₹500,000 (~$5,820)/MW.
The project must be completed within nine months.
The project’s estimated cost will be ₹35 million (~$407,414)/MW.
Bidders must submit ₹11,800 (~$137) as the bid document fee and ₹2,950 (~$34) as e-procurement processing fee.
The scope of work involves designing, surveying, supplying, installing, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance for 25 years from the date of commissioning of the projects. It also includes the construction of a 33 kV or 11 kV line to connect the projects with various 33/11 kV sub-stations and a remote monitoring system.
Bidders must maintain at least a 19% capacity utilization factor.
The delivery point for a solar power project of a maximum of 2.55 MW capacity must be on the 11 kV side, and for installation capacity above 2.55 MW, the delivery point must be on the 33 kV side of the 33/11 kV GSS of the power distribution company.
Bidders must use indigenously manufactured solar panels with indigenous modules and solar cells.
They must ensure the availability of land with clear titles for the quoted capacity. They can submit bids for more than one solar power project.
Bidders can avail of central financial assistance available under PM-KUSUM.
A sole bidder who is a landowner/ farmer/any individual/cooperative/panchayat farmer producer organization with required land for projects can submit an undertaking of at least 20% of the total cost of the quoted capacity. Bidders must submit an undertaking to have access to adequate financial tie-up for setting up the quoted capacity.
They must have an annual turnover of 30% of the total cost of the quoted capacity in the last three financial years.
In October 2024, JVVNL invited bids to develop 207.02 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program for agricultural feeder solarization.
