Jodhpur Invites Bids for 450 MW Solar Projects Under KUSUM

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JdVVNL) has floated five tenders for grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 450 MW under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) – Component A.

Bids must be submitted by August 30, 2025. Bids will be opened on September 2.

Bidders must submit a processing fee of ₹2,950 (~$34.30).

The projects involve laying 33 kV or 11 kV lines to connect with 33/11 kV substations and installing remote monitoring systems.

Key details of each tender are as follows:

Tender 1

This tender is for 66 MW solar projects in the Anoopgarh and Raisinghnagar divisions of the Sri Ganganagar circle. It covers 34 project sites with capacities ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW.

Tender 2

This tender is for a total capacity of 78 MW in the Bikaner DD-I division of the Bikaner district circle. It covers 38 project sites with capacities of 2 MW.

Tender 3

This tender is for 96 MW in the Sardar Sahar and Churu division of the Churu circle. It covers 49 project sites with capacities ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW.

Tender 4

This tender is for 103 MW of projects allocated across Khajuwala and Dungergarh new divisions of the Bikaner district circle. It covers 52 project sites with capacities ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW.

Tender 5

This tender is for 107 MW of capacity proposed for Ratangarh, Sadulpur, and Sujangarh divisions of the Churu circle. It covers 55 project sites with capacities ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW.

The scope of work includes the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar projects. It also entails providing operations and maintenance services for 25 years from the commercial operation date.

All the tenders follow the renewable energy service company (RESCO) mode.

Tariff bids must be quoted to three decimal places. The ceiling tariff is set at ₹3.040 (~$0.035)/kWh.

Bidders must be empaneled under the relevant tenders.

Recently, JdVVNL issued four requests for price bids for grid-connected solar projects with a total capacity of 354 MW under PM-KUSUM – Component A.
