ITI issues EoI for 2 MW Rooftop Solar Systems in Odisha

ITI, a public sector undertaking under the Department of Telecommunications, has issued an expression of interest (EoI) to set up 2 MW off-grid rooftop solar systems across Odisha.
Bids must be submitted by January 24, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹300,000 (~$3,600) and a document fee of ₹5,900 (~$70.78), including GST.
Selected bidders must design, engineer, supply, install, test, and commission rooftop solar systems. They must also provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services for five years.
Successful bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee of 5% of the work order value within 15 days of receiving the letter of intent.
Bidders must have completed a project of 500 kW capacity during the last three years from the bid submission date. Bidders registered in Odisha must have completed a project of 200 kW capacity during the same period.
Bidders must have operated in India for at least three years. They must have an average annual turnover of ₹10 million (~$120,000) and a positive net worth over the last three financial years.
They must have a project office in Odisha or commit to establishing one within a month of the award.
Bidders must hold valid ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
Project delays will attract liquidated damages of 0.5% per week, capped at 10% of the project cost.
Recently, ITI issued a tender for establishing a 500 MW fully automatic solar photovoltaic module manufacturing line on a turnkey basis at ITI Limited, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier this year, ITI issued a tender to procure 738,000 polycrystalline solar cells. The solar cells must have a 5BB design, each having a minimum power output of 3.58 Wp and a tolerance of -0% to +2%.
