The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has launched mobile apps for managing vendor payments and wind and solar generation based incentives. These apps are expected to help IREDA provide efficient online services to customers and vendors.

Through the payment app, vendors can access information regarding their bills and payments. It will also serve as a single-point source for real-time information for all vendors. Registered vendors can access information about their invoices and give feedback on work done by IREDA. The wind and solar generation based incentive app will help project developers and contractors access claims, view payment details, and find other related information about the generation based incentive program being overseen by IREDA on behalf of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

These apps are expected to ease the process for customers as they can get all the information in one place. Project developers and contractors can expedite project construction processes as the app will provide them with policies, incentives, and timeframes of completion.
