HAREDA to Tender 30 MW of Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar

The Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) plans to tender 30 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar to be installed atop buildings across the state of Haryana. This is a rate contract and the estimated project cost is Rs.1.8 billion (~$28 million).

The scope of work includes, design, engineering, supply, erection, installation, and commissioning of the grid-connected rooftop solar projects. The successful bidder will also provide comprehensive maintenance (O&M) services for a five-year period.

Recently, the state government of Haryana exempted solar materials and equipment from value added tax (VAT) in the state.
