Gensol Engineering’s Revenue Up 42% YoY, EPC Contracts Grow
The company reported a 6% rise in profit during Q3 FY25

Gujarat-based engineering and consulting firm Gensol Engineering has reported consolidated revenue of ₹3.45 billion (~$39.69 million) in the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year (FY) 2025, a 30% year-over-year (YoY) increase from ₹2.66 billion (~$30.6 million).
The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹180 million (~$2.07 million), a 6% YoY rise from ₹170 million (~$1.9 million).
A strong engineering, procurement and construction order book drove Gensol’s revenue and profit during the quarter.
Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) came in at ₹630 million (~$7.2 million) in Q3 FY 2025, a 19% YoY increase from ₹530 million (~$6.09 million).
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) were at ₹4.46 (~$0.05) in Q3 FY 2025 compared to ₹4.79 (~$0.055) a year ago.
9M Results
Gensol Engineering reported consolidated revenue of ₹10.56 billion (~$121.49 million) in the first nine months (9M) of FY 2025, a 42% YoY increase from ₹7.43 billion (~$85.48 million).
The company’s PAT was ₹670 million (~$7.7 million), a 34% YoY rise from ₹500 million (~$5.7 million).
Its EBITDA grew to ₹2.46 billion (~$28.30 million) in 9M FY 2025, an 89% YoY increase from ₹1.30 billion (~$14.95 million).
The company’s EPS came in at ₹20.64 (~$0.237) in 9M FY 2025 compared to ₹13.66 (~$0.157) during the corresponding period of the previous year.
Operational Highlights
Gensol Engineering secured an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract from a public sector undertaking to develop a 275 MW solar project at RE Solar Park, Khavda, Gujarat, at a bid value of ₹10.62 billion (~$122.18 million).
It also won an order worth approximately ₹9.68 billion (~$111.37 million) for a 245 MW solar project at the same location.
Gensol Engineering also secured a contract with NTPC Renewable Energy to develop a 225 MW solar project at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Solar Park worth ₹8.97 billion (~$103.2 million).
Anmol Singh Jaggi, Chairman and Managing Director, Gensol Engineering, said the company secured EPC contracts totaling ₹29.28 billion (~$336.87 million) in Q3.
The company has 30,000 pre-orders for its EZIO micro urban vehicle. It also unveiled its EZIBOT cargo electric vehicle recently.
In January this year, Gensol Engineering partnered with Refex Green Mobility to transfer 2,997 electric four-wheelers to support sustainable mobility in India. As part of the partnership, Refex eVeelz will take over Gensol’s ₹3.15 billion (~$36.24 million) loan, streamline operations, and expand e4W use in cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.
