GEDA Tenders 125 MW of Rooftop Solar PV Projects to be Installed Across Gujarat
GEDA has prescribed four categories under which the bidders can bid

The Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has tendered 125 MW of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects to be developed across the state. The bid-submission deadline is June 18, 2018.
This is a tender for the empanelment of vendors under rate contract for the supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems in residential, institutional, and social sector buildings in Gujarat.
GEDA has proposed four project sizes; 1 to 6 kW, >6kW <=10kW, >10kW <=50 kW, and > 51 kW. The projects will be developed on a turnkey basis.
The scope of work includes the identification of beneficiary in the residential, institutional and social sector, survey of the site for its feasibility considering the shadow free space, sanctioned load of the beneficiary by the DISCOM, design, supply of grid connected solar photovoltaic system with all other accessories, equipment and protection devises, and including bi-directional meter, its testing charges , its housing (SMC box), installation, testing, commissioning of the grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects.
The successful bidders will provide maintenance services for a five-year period after project commissioning. GEDA has prescribed four categories under which the bidders can bid.
Bidders who have developed 700 kW in the past two years and have average annual turnover during last three years of ₹30.3 million (~$492,258) have been put under category A.
Bidders who have developed 350 kW in the past two years and have average annual turnover during last three years of ₹10.65 million (~$246,129) have been placed in category B.
Bidders who have developed 140 kW in the past two years and have average annual turnover during last three years of ₹6.6 million (~$98,451) come under category C. Category D consists of all other bidders.
Category A and Category B bidders can bid for any of the four project sizes; 1 to 6 kW, >6kW <=10kW, >10kW <=50 kW, and >51 kW. Category C bidders can bid for projects of capacities 1 to 6 kW, >6kW <=10kW, and category D bidders can bid for projects between 1 to 6 kW.
Under category A, a single bidder will be awarded a maximum of 2 MW. Under category B, a single bidder will be awarded a maximum of 1 MW. Under category C, a single bidder will be awarded a maximum of 400 kW and under category D a single bidder will be awarded a maximum of 150 kW of projects.
Under category A 56.25 MW will be developed, 37.50 MW will be developed under category B, 25 MW under category C, and 6.25 MW under Category D.
All the projects must be completed within a maximum 330 days after project allotment.
