Given the benefits of easy installation and swapping, higher efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, high-power string inverters are increasingly being used in large-scale solar power projects across the world.

Due to their small size, they can be easily installed and quickly swapped in case of faults. Like central inverters, they are highly efficient in terms of DC to AC conversion.

These inverters are also known to reduce equipment costs and installation expenses for BOS components while enhancing monitoring and control capabilities.

Mercom’s Webinar ‘How to Save on Costs with High-Power String Inverters in Large-Scale Solar Projects‘ will explore projects where these inverters are a prudent choice over smaller models and central inverters.

The panel of experts will also discuss how the costs could be reduced during construction and the lifetime of the project with the use of high-power string inverters.
