Ahmedabad-based integrated power transmission equipment manufacturer Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a letter of intent from Hild Projects, a solar engineering, procurement, and construction contractor, for the supply of power cables. The total value of the order stands at ₹661.8 million (~$7.35 million).

The order is scheduled for execution between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026. The purchase order is structured on a kilometre-rate basis with a Price Variation (PV) formula, ensuring pricing adjustments based on material or market cost fluctuations during the execution period.

Hild Projects is a subsidiary of Hild Energy with has provided solar EPC services for a 240 MW solar project by NTPC in Rajasthan. The company is currently executing two solar projects with a combined capacity of 1,125 MW in Bhuj, Gujarat.

The contract has been awarded on a domestic basis and falls under standard procurement practices with no involvement of related parties. The order does not involve any conflict of interest, as none of the promoters, promoter group members, or group companies has any interest in the awarding entity.

Diamond Power offers low-voltage cables up to 1.1 kV with 34,300 kilometers per annum (KMPA) production capacity, HV cables up to 132 kV with 19,500 KMPA, and extra-high-voltage cables of up to 550 kV with 2,000 KMPA.

The company manufactures solar AC and DC cables, copper cables, electric vehicle charging cables, special cables for battery energy storage systems (BESS), power and control cables for solar, wind, BESS, hydrogen, and biogas projects up to 200 kV, and medium-voltage covered conductors for renewable energy.

Recently, Diamond Power received a letter of intent to supply 33 kV, 2,126 km high-voltage (HV) cables and 3.3 kV, 3,539 km solar medium-voltage (MV) cables worth ₹7.47 billion (~$83.16 million) from Adani Green Energy for its renewable energy projects in Khavda, Gujarat, and in Rajasthan.

In November, Diamond Power received a letter of intent to supply transmission conductors worth ₹2.76 billion (~$30.96 million) from Adani Energy Solutions for the Khavda renewable energy project. The order involves the supply of 7,668 km of AL-59 zebra conductors.

In May this year, Diamond Power formed a partnership with U.S.-based TS Conductor to support large-scale grid upgrades, reconductoring projects, and renewable energy integration.
