Solarium Green Energy won a contract from NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) to install 6,929 kW grid-connected rooftop solar projects at various locations of central armed forces and departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs in Uttar Pradesh (Zone 4). The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, civil construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and grid interfacing within 240 days from the date of notice of award. Solarium must handle the system’s operations and maintenance duties for ten years.
Jaipur-based Classic Signages won NVVN’s auction to develop a cumulative solar project capacity of 6.32 MW in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for a contract value of ₹214.69 million (~$2.47 million). The tender was floated in October 2024. Classic Signages will develop 3.92 MW of rooftop and 2.4 MW of ground-mounted solar projects at Simhadri and Ramagundam NTPC stations in the two states.
The Telangana Power Generation Corporation invited bids to prepare a detailed project report for solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 56 MW. Bids must be submitted by March 21, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day. The project’s estimated contract value is ₹1.3 million (~$15,002).
Greater Noida-based solar module manufacturer Alpex Solar reported a 137.22% year-over-year (YoY) increase in revenue to ₹1.88 billion (~$21.62 million) in the third quarter of the financial year 2025 from ₹793.05 million (~$9.12 million). The company’s net profit jumped 422.96% YoY to ₹235.76 million (~$2.7 million) from ₹45.08 million (~$518,587). The company reported earnings per share of ₹9.63 (~$0.11) in Q3 FY25 compared to ₹2.51 (~$0.028) a year ago.
Decarbonization solutions company ReNew reported revenue of ₹21.2 billion (~$248 million) during the third quarter of the financial year 2025, a 10% YoY increase from ₹19.3 billion (~$225 million). The company’s revenue from power sales was ₹14.9 billion (~$175 million), down slightly from ₹15 billion (~$176 million) a year ago. Its net loss widened to ₹3.8 billion (~$45 million) from ₹3.2 billion (~$38 million) during the same quarter the previous year.
