The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) extended the implementation timeline of mandatory compliance under the Solar Systems, Devices and Components Goods Order, 2025 for solar inverters with capacities above 200 kW. The extension applies to inverters covered under items 4 and 5 of the order. Manufacturers may continue to comply through self-certification until December 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) announced the winners of the auction to procure power from 250 MW of grid-connected wind projects (Phase-XI).

Argentina’s government awarded 20 battery energy storage projects with a collective capacity of 700.5 MW under its Alma SADI tender. The battery storage projects were submitted by five domestic companies and would require an estimated investment of $700 million.
