Hyderabad-based Bondada Engineering has commissioned 69.51 MW of solar projects for three companies during January 2026.
The projects were executed for Paradigm IT, Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO), and NLC India across multiple locations, including Hingoli, Achalpur, Bhusawal, and Vajiapur in Maharashtra, and Neyveli in Tamil Nadu.
Earlier this year, Bondada had commissioned 120.46 MW of solar projects in December 2025 for the three companies.
The commissioning strengthens Bondada Engineering’s position as a scalable engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partner in the renewable energy sector, particularly in large, multi-location solar deployments.
Beyond EPC execution, Bondada Engineering has outlined a broader renewable energy strategy that includes asset ownership, operations, maintenance, and energy storage. The company is active as a solar independent power producer (IPP), developing, owning, and operating renewable energy assets.
Its IPP portfolio includes large solar park development, long-term revenue generation through owned assets, and integration with battery energy storage systems. A 2 GW solar IPP project has also been planned in Andhra Pradesh, with an estimated investment of ₹90,000 million (~$).
The company has an 850 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity under execution. This includes a 200 MW/400 MWh project for Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation and a 225 MW/450 MWh project for Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation.
For the nine months ended FY26, renewable energy accounted for 80% of Bondada Engineering’s revenue mix. Solar EPC alone emerged as the largest revenue contributor at 33% as early as FY22–23, with its share continuing to increase.
In December 2025, the company was one of the winners of NTPC Renewable Energy’s balance-of-system (BoS) tender for 1.4 GW of grid-connected solar power projects in Chitrakoot (2 x 400 MW) and Lalitpur (2 x 300 MW) in Uttar Pradesh.
In the same month, it secured an EPC order from NLC India Renewables for BoS works for 810 MW solar projects at Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam’s solar park in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
