The last date to submit bids is August 12, 2022
July 19, 2022
Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST) has issued a tender for installing a 2 MW canal top solar project with high power evacuation. The project will be located at N-Choe Passing near Garden Of Conifers in Sector-52, Chandigarh.
Successful bidders must commission the project within five months of signing the work order and provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for ten years.
The estimated cost of the project is ₹115 million (~$1.44 million), and the project must be completed within five months from the date of placement of the work order.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹2.3 million (~$28,772). The successful bidders must remit 3% of the project cost as a security deposit within 15 days from the date of issuance of the work order.
The last day to submit the bids is August 12, 2022. The bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must have an average financial turnover of ₹57.5 million (~$719,280) in the last three financial years ending March 31, 2022.
To be eligible, the bidders must have completed three similar works amounting to not less than 40% of the project cost or two similar works of not less than 50% of the project cost. Alternatively, they must have completed at least one similar work amounting to not less than 80% of the project cost during the last seven years.
Bidders must submit an undertaking for the minimum expected electrical energy generation of 1,300 kWh per 1 kW system on the LT side for the first year. A 1% decrease of minimum expected electrical energy generation due to the degradation factor of the solar module is allowed from the second year onwards. Any deficiency in the generated electrical energy output will be recovered at the rate of ₹10 (~$0.125)/kWh from their bill.
The solar modules used for the projects should be from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The module must have a warranty for 25 years with degradation of power generated not exceeding 10% after ten years and 20% of the minimum rated power at the end of 25 years.
In February, CREST issued an engineering, procurement, and construction tender to install 2 MW of grid-connected floating solar projects with high power evacuation systems at tanks number seven and eight of Water Works in sector 39, Chandigarh.
